Dear Zoë, Joshua, Robert and Pat,

I am thinking of you all at this sad time. I have very fond memories of Hazel too! Yes, she was a truly elegant and strong lady. I remember her lyrical voice and her memorable laugh. She had a great willingness to help out a school. Ms Vivian and I were recalling her profitable fundraising for the school piano. (She raised $500.00 from a walk through the Balmain shops) and I remember her constant help with the reading at school.

Hazel always had a welcoming smile and hello that made me feel good about myself.

The service last Monday was truly moving: the music, the singing, the words and the bravery of you all!

I’m sure the happy memories of Hazel, her strength and creativity will be with you all forever.
