The holiday (?) from hell in Pitlochry.

Dear Judith,

We are living in an old house — 14th century in places. Cold water comes direct from a mountain stream so at peak times in our room the cold water cuts off. The weather is freezing, rainy, windy. We’re over 3 miles from civilisation (i.e. the PUB). Food is awful. One girl down with flu. One fellow has stomach trouble. In fact having an awful time, wish you were here.
