Hazel

Dear Robert, 

When Eve mentioned that Hazel had passed away I was both shocked and
saddened.  I extend my sincere condolences to you, Zoe, and Josh.

Indeed I do remember Hazel with much fondness.  It is now 26 years since I
first met Hazel and that was when we worked together on the same team at the
National Crime Authority.  After I left the NCA in 1988, I did not see Hazel
again and we lost contact, as our careers went in different directions. 

I am grateful for the warm and positives memories I have of Hazel.  Her dry
sarcastic wit was always present and always welcome in those heady days at
the NCA.  Hazel never took things too seriously when things were tough and
she always saw the silver lining.  Her contribution to the work of the team,
however, was both professional and invaluable.  It is a sad, sad loss. 

I wish you, Zoe, and Josh well.
