Bob, Zoë and Josh
Terry and I have just learned of Hazel’s passing. We are so very sorry for your loss, our loss, the world’s loss.

Terry has asked me to send a message to Zoë and Josh. He is very sorry and sad and sends all his love. He would like to help them feel better and asks if they would mind if he could still invite them to play with him or come to the Dilgry (our bush property) sometime soon.

Graham and I can only offer you the warmth of friendship. We both recall our first encounter with you and Hazel together at Barrington Guest House many years ago — how we thought you had found the an exquisite treasure when you met Hazel. She seemed like quite the catch — we were most impressed. Together you have since built a wonderful life with two beautiful and vital children. She has left you and all of us with a wonderful legacy through them.

Please let us help in any way. As soon as you feel the children we would able, we would be priviledged to take them up to the Dilgry for a few days - give you some time. If Rachel and Benj come along they will have extra good company. Perhaps just having a good day of play over here at our pool would be good or a day down at the beach. Perhaps all of you would like to slip away for a few days together — please feel free to use our townhouse at Hawks Nest on the beach ( with dolphins, penguins, 55 kms of sand to stroll along) — a wonderful environment to contemplate your happy memories and lose yourself in the beautiful scenery. I’ll check with you in a week or so to see if that suits you, Pat and the kids.....anytime will do.

Please give each other a big, big , big and very warm hug from our little gang. We care about you all deeply and will always cherish our moments with your very special, very lovely Hazel.... Take care

Lots of Love,

Dedee

Dedee was a friend of Hazel’s and mine.
